The mission of T&E Care is to maintain a network of people providing financial and other material assistance to persons in need in and around the Tredyffrin and Easttown township area.
T&E Care Kids Clothing Grab Bag
It's already mid January and that means just one thing ..... T&E Care will soon be collecting kids clothes (infants through teens) for the 6th annual Kids Clothing Grab Bag! The 2017 collections will take place from March 15-24, and the event itself will be on March 30 and April 1. As in the past we will be hosted by St. Matthews United Methodist Church on Walker Rd. in Wayne. They are extremely generous in letting us take over the church for this event!

Our December Holiday Dinner program was held on Tuesday, December 20. Thanks to Jan Bookwalter, Tammy Small, and Laura Pratt for coordinating this program, and to all the amazing folks who donated the items needed to complete 10 total dinners (plus extra stuff) for local families. The sign-ups for the food took place on Sign-up Genius. Thanks again for all your support!
Thanksgiving Dinner Program 2016
Again this year T&E Care volunteers prepared Thanksgiving dinners for 10 local families. St. Luke Lutheran Churchin Devon graciously offered their space to use for this preparation, which took place on Wednesday morning, November 23.

T&E Care volunteers joined the Paoli Business and Professional Association and the Paoli Hardware Center to welcome Santa to Paoli on December 3. He was escorted to town by the Paoli Fire Company! All in attendance enjoyed entertainment, refreshments, and lots of fun. All donations benefitted T&E Care. Thanks to the PBPA for this wonderful support!
Blue Sky and Deck 5 Bands and 30 Main
Support T&E Care - Friday, Dec. 2
Again this year the Blue Sky Band and Deck 5 Band played a concert at 30 Main in Berwyn to benefit T&E Care. Entrance fee was a gift card for the big Holiday Drive. Over $1000 in gift cards and general donations was raised with this effort! Special thanks to all those who attended, to the bands for taking the time to perform (at no cost to T&E Care!). Very special thanks as well to 30 Main for giving us a percentage of the revenue from food/drinks sold that night. We received a check for $500 through this event! WOW is all we can say!
EXCITING PARTNERSHIP WITH JOHN'S VILLAGE MARKET
John’s Village Market (676 Lancaster Ave., Berwyn) has partnered with T&E Care in an effort to provide food for local neighbors. Whenever there, customers are encouraged to purchase "coupons for 6" hoagies" which can be redeemed by community members when needs arise. $5/hoagie coupon. Stop by John’s Village Market anytime this fall and order coupons to be offered to local families.
Note- as of November 1, 2016 we've handed out coupons for 26 free hoagies! Wow!!!!

If you have the ability to help with any of these VERY important needs for a few of our local families - please let us know. The power of "community" can often make the impossible possible!
A number of folks have asked for tall dressers. Please let us know if you know of any that migth be available. 11/22/16
We can still use laptops!!!! If you have a laptop that you think will still work well but you need to upgrade - let us know and we'll look at the old laptop! It needs to run Windows 10 or newer. We are also only licensed to take PCs. Thanks!
We also need computer mice - for desktops or laptops. We prefer the type that are plugged in with USB ports as opposed to wireless mice that need continual battery replacements! If you have any extra mice - let us know!

Turkey Burn for T&E Care - a huge success!
The 4th annual Mojo Annual Turkey Burn, held on November 26, 2016, was another huge success! The gym at DVFS was packed with folks who enjoyed an hour of fun and dance withCindy Brauer leading the way.It was a wonderful way to remove those extra pounds from Thanksgiving and support T&E Care at the same time. $740 was raised with this fun fundraiser! Thanks to all who participated and to Mojo for helping out with this fun event! (Check out Mojo Fitnessfor other classes all year long.)
FALL FEST 2016 - OH MY!
This year's Fall Fest, Round Up for T&E Care (sponsored by Zeke Capital Advisors) was held on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at St. Davids Golf Club. The sold out crowd enjoyed an amazing evening of dancing to Wheelhouse (an amazing band), line dancing with Cindy Brauer from Mojo Fitness, great food, wonderful raffle and auction prizes, and fun cowboy and cowgirl outfits! We will be loading pictures soon on our website - so check back to see them. A complete list of donors will also be included. Thanks to ALL who supported the event - be it sponsors, donors, or those who attended. It was a HUGE SUCCESS!
Thanks again to the Baptist Church in the Great Valley and the United Church of Christ for co-hosting the 5th annual Alternative Gift Market on November 12 and 13, 2016. This was a great opportunity to find some unique and fun holiday gifts for family and friends and do “holiday shopping that helps others”. Once all tabulated, proceeds from the event will be donated T&E Care. We VERY much appreciate this support!

Paoli Village Shoppes Partners with T&E Care - 2016
As part of the community celebrations this year - Paoli Village Shoppes celebrated its 50th anniversary this fall. They hosted assorted events throughout the fall, culminating with the Paoli Blues Fest on October 1. All the money raised during this time was presented to T&E Care in early October. Additionally the PVS collected 50 bags of assorted supplies to be given to local families, including $25 coupons to many of the stores within the PVS. Thanks thanks thanks to PVS for considering this partnership and helping in our efforts to lend assistance to local families.

November 2016 - TheShandtract Civic Association recently donated a portion of the proceeds from their Tyler Hedges Day event held earlier in October. This event is held in memory of a young neighbor who lost his battle with leukemia, for the purpose of bringing the neighborhood together and raising money for local charities in his name. The funds received from this amazing event are used to support our camp assistance program. Last year over 80 local kids went to camp, in part with the assistance of this program - so they are really touching a lot of lives! THANKS!
October 2016 - thePaoli Village Shoppes was so thrilled with the response of the first 50 gift cards, they donated another 150 of them! 100 were given to the local food banks to spice up those distributions, and 50 more will be used with our upcoming holiday drive. What an amazing donation!
October 2016 - this year the Paoli Village Shoppes turned 50 yrs old. In celebrating this special anniversary they collected 50 bags of supplies for T&E Care to be handed out at our holiday drive They also sold raffle tickets at the Paoli Blues Fest, with proceeds coming to T&E Care. AND they donated 50 $25 gift cards to some of the stores in the shopping center - to be donated to some of the families we support. Thanks to Nudy's Cafe, HomeCooked, Plato's Closet, TJ's, Primo Hoagies, Studio H, and Concord Pet Food for supporting this program.
October 2016 - Thanks to Trinity Presbyterian Church in Berwyn for a donation from their mission program. We continue to be very thankful for the support of the many local churches.
The CHS Class of 2005 made a donation at its 10th reunion to T&E Care in memory of classmate Mark Abdullah, a classmate who suddenly passed away shortly after graduating from Virginia Tech. The donation will go into our College Assistance Program fund to help a deserving college student. Mark's memory lives on with this special tribute!

July 2016 - A special thanks for the Bewyn Devon Business and Professional Organization for recognizing T&E Care with a $1000 donation at their annual dinner. These funds are the result of the May Fest.
June 2016 - Once again a huge thanks to The Nelson Foundation for offering us a $6000 grant to be used towards our College Assistance Program. The budget for this program continues to grow, so this support is MUCH appreciated.
